How to track wishes
Every tracking method is a trade between effort, privacy and history depth. Here's the honest map — including where the browser-only wish tracker fits.

Quick answer
For most players: import the past once (via the game's public wish-history page and a tool you trust), then log the future manually in a private tracker. You get full history plus a live pity counter that never touches a server.
The three methods
| Method | History depth | Privacy | Effort |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manual tracker (browser-only) | Forward only | Max — data never leaves the device | One tap per session |
| History-file import tools | ~6 months (game's retention window) | Depends on the tool's server | One-time + after each patch |
| Spreadsheet discipline | As far as you keep it | Total | High |
What the in-game history can and cannot tell you
- Can: every pull with timestamps and rarity — enough to reconstruct pity and 50/50 records.
- Cannot: anything older than the retention window (~6 months) [VERIFY per game], or a lifetime luck profile — that only accumulates in your own log.
Setting up the hybrid workflow
- Import your history with a reputable tool to backfill the last six months.
- Enter your current pity and 50/50 state into the tracker as a baseline entry.
- Log pulls per session going forward — ten-pulls with the 5★ marked.
- Check 50/50 stats monthly; watch trends, not single losses.
