Pity Calculator
Your wish plan in numbers: pulls to hard pity, real odds in the next ten-pull, expected pulls needed — and what the 50/50 does to all of it.
How it works
rate(n) = 0.6% + 6% × max(0, n − 74) capped at 100% [VERIFY] P(within k) = 1 − (1 − r₁)(1 − r₂)…(1 − rₖ) expected = Σ P(still nothing after i−1 pulls)
The shared HoYo model: 0.6% base, soft pity ramping from pull ~74, hard pity 90 (character presets). Currency conversion defaults to 160 per pull [VERIFY per game]. Full assumptions: methodology.
FAQ
Does pity carry over between banners?
Within the same banner type and game, yes — pity and a carried 50/50 guarantee persist across limited banners. Enter your current pity even mid-banner and the math stays valid. [VERIFY per game]
Why are my odds in a ten-pull only ~6%?
At the 0.6% base rate, ten independent pulls give 1 − 0.994¹⁰ ≈ 5.8%. The pity system — not the per-pull rate — is what guarantees 5★s, which is why the calculator also shows pulls to hard pity and expected pulls.
What does the guarantee switch change?
With a carried guarantee (you lost your last 50/50), every 5★ is the rate-up, so banner odds equal 5★ odds. Without it, the tool halves the shown odds for the coin flip and reminds you that a loss guarantees the next one.
